Question: If I don’t upgrade at all – will I still be able to continue to use my SunTouch Plus software?
Answer: Yes, you will be able to continue to use the software, receive software registration, and hardware activation. However we will not be able to provide any technical support after
December 31st 2016. Should any issues arise, we will not be in a position to provide support.
Question: How long will this offer last?
Answer: this offer is good until December 31st 2016. After this time, SalonTouch will be transitioning to a Software as a Service model.
Question: Will SalonTouch take care of all the Database conversion and installation of the new software without an additional hidden expenses?
Answer: Yes, the special upgrade price includes Database conversion and assistance with installing the new software.
Question: Will I need to buy a new computer if I decide to upgrade?
Answer: Not necessarily. SalonTouch Evolution will work on existing Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7/8.1 and Windows 10.
Question: My PC is very old and slow. If I upgrade will I get a good user experience? What do you recommend?
Answer: Most of the older PCs are very slow and technology has improved considerable over the last few years. For a good user experience we recommend that you get a faster PC with at least Windows 7 or Windows 10 with at least 8GB of RAM. Question: What about training me on using the new software? I cannot afford any downtime or a long learning curve.
Answer: After the installation is complete, one of our specialist will provide you with a one-hour training class to show you how to navigate the new software, create new services and products, complete register transactions, putting clients in tanning, and other basic functions. In addition to this, you will have full access to our Support Center to assist You will find that the new software is very intuitive and easy to use.
In addition you will have up to 30 days of full technical support should you have any questions during this time.
In addition we provide User Manuals, Quick Start Guides and Training Videos to supplement any ongoing additional training that you feel is necessary for you or your employees.
