How do I keep my employees from tanning while on the clock

SalonTouch allows you to control your employee tanning activity while they are working.

Every person who tans in SalonTouch has a Client profile.  A client profile can be marked as an employee.  This can be used to give employee discounts and/or keep the employee from tanning themselves while clocked in.

To mark a Client profile as an Employee:

1. Click Client.
2. Search for the employee's Client profile.
3. On the right side of the profile window there is a drop-down for Is Employee.  Click on the drop-down.
   
   
4. Select the employee's name from the drop down list.
5. Click Save.

To keep an Employee from tanning while clocked in:

1. By default this is set with the initial install.  In order to change it perform the following.
2. Click Setup.
3. Click Options
4. Click the Tan section on the left.
5. Scroll down until you find Allow Employees who are clocked in to tan.
   
6. To allow employees to tan on the clock, place a check mark.
7. To keep employees from tanning on the clock, make sure there is no check mark.
8. Click Save.
