1. Click on the Setup button at the top of the screen.

  2. Click on Products in the Setup section of that screen.

  3. Click on Add in the popup window.

  4. In the new popup window, select either Blank Template or from one of the existing products to use it as a template. 

  5. Using an existing product as a template is helpful and time saving when creating a new product very similar to another product.  You can choose to have the Price or the Combo services/products with the template product to be added to the new product.  When you have selected the items you wish to use, click OK.

  1. If you are running in a multiple salon environment, select if the product should be a Local or Global product.  You will not be asked this for a single salon environment.

  2. At the product screen enter the information for the product,  You must give the product a value for the Name 1 and Name 2 fields.

  3. You must setup a price in order for the product to appear in the register.

  4. Enter the information that you wish to enter for the Name fields, Bar Code, Report As, and Pricing areas.

  5. To add new pricing information click Add.

  6. In the popup that appears enter the Price and Start Date.  These are required, though you can put $0.00 in for items that are sold at no cost.

  7. Click Apply then Cancel to exit that window.

  8. Click Save to at the bottom of the window.
