1. Click Version.
  2. Click About Software.
  3. There will be a grayed out button that has the text Turn On Performance Monitor.
  4. If you click on the grayed out button you will get the message below:
  5. Click NO.  If you click Yes, you will have multiple, pop-up messages that appear alerting you to what is happening in SalonTouch.
  6. You will then perform the actions that are having the issues in SalonTouch.


You will want to send the file to SalonTouch Software Support.

  1. Click View Performance File.
  2. Select all of the text in the performance file.
  3. You can copy this information to an email and send it to support@salontouch.com
  4. If you have version 4.0.0 or higher and email setup in SalonTouch you can email the performance file by clicking the Email Performance File button.  Warning!  A very large file can several minutes to upload.  Locations with very slow Internet may need to be careful using the email option.

After you have completed testing the software, turn off the Performance Monitor.


  1. Click Version.
  2. Click About Software.
  3. There will be a green button that has the text Turn Off Performance Monitor.
  4. Click the button to turn it off and close the window.
