How do I sell an EFT Membership for a Set Time Period

Modified on Thu, Feb 22, 2018 at 2:44 PM

Salons can set an EFT membership to be good for a certain duration by selling a normal EFT service and then selling a Membership Cancellation service immediately after as the next transaction.  The Membership Cancellation service will need to be set to have their EFT Membership service deactivate at the last draft period for the contact term.

You will need to know how to Setup an EFT Membership Cancellation Service.  Please review that information before proceeding.

For a 1 Year plan, the cancellation service will need to be set to expire after 11 monthly drafts.  The client will pay for their 1st month's service at the register and then have 11 more monthly drafts.  Their EFT Membership services will be able to be used for 30 days after their last draft.  This will give them the equivalent of a 12 month contract with minimal work on the salon's part.

For a 6 month, this will be set to 5 months.  Since the clients are paying for the first month at the register the number of monthly drafts will normally be one less than the contract term, but can be for any contract term.
