Customers can pay for items with the use of an in house credit (the register must be set up to accept in house credit as a form of payment).  In House Credit can be set or changed on an individual basis in the client’s profile. You are also able to set the default in-house credit for all new clients.  Setting up In House Credit is a two-step process.

To Set the default In House Credit limit for new clients:

  1. Click Setup.

  2. Click Options.

  3. In the Client section, scroll down to the When adding a new Client section.

  4. Change the Set In House Credit Limit to: the value that you want all newly entered clients.to have.  The example above all new clients will have a $20.00 In House Credit limit.  It will not affect clients that are already in the system.

To change an individual clients In House Credit limit:

  1. Go to Setup -> Register and put a check mark In House Credit.

  2. Click Save when done.

  3. Open up the customer’s account profile by selecting a client.

  4. Click on the Account tab on the left side of the client window.

  5. In the In House Credit Limit type in the default dollar amount you want for that customer.

  6. Click Save when done.

Customers will now be able to purchase items using their In House Credit account and also to make In House Credit Payments in the salon.
