Worldpay Credit Card Machine Troubleshooting

ISSUE: Unable to make a transaction, Worldpay reader is stuck on "System Information" screen. This can happen for a few reasons, if the first step doesn't work, continue to the rest.


SOLUTION: 

  1. First, unplug the power cable from the Worldpay reader and let it sit for 1 minute.
  2. Restart the computer as well, as the computer is booting up, plug in the power cable to the Worldpay device.
  3. The machine will go through several screen and should end on the "Welcome" screen. If not, continue the following steps...
  4. Open up "Services" on your computer as administrator.
  5. Scroll down to find the service called "triPOS.net"
  6. The service should be "Running" and set to "Automatic"
  7. If it is not, right click and select "Start". Then right click and select "Properties" and Select the option "Automatic".
  8. Open up SalonTouch and test a transaction.
  9. If it still does not work after following all the steps, contact SalonTouch Support.
