ISSUE: Unable to make a transaction, Worldpay reader is stuck on "System Information" screen. This can happen for a few reasons, if the first step doesn't work, continue to the rest.
SOLUTION:
- First, unplug the power cable from the Worldpay reader and let it sit for 1 minute.
- Restart the computer as well, as the computer is booting up, plug in the power cable to the Worldpay device.
- The machine will go through several screen and should end on the "Welcome" screen. If not, continue the following steps...
- Open up "Services" on your computer as administrator.
- Scroll down to find the service called "triPOS.net"
- The service should be "Running" and set to "Automatic"
- If it is not, right click and select "Start". Then right click and select "Properties" and Select the option "Automatic".
- Open up SalonTouch and test a transaction.
- If it still does not work after following all the steps, contact SalonTouch Support.
