In SalonTouch, check the printer driver for the printer that is used to print receipts.

Click Setup

Click Printer/Cashdrawer on the left of the screen.
- In the Receipt Printer Driver drop down check to see if the correct printer is listed. If it is not, change to the correct one.
- You can test the receipt printer by clicking on the Receipt Messages and clicking Test Print at the bottom of the page.
If the printer is correct in SalonTouch, check the following hardware issues:

Make sure the printer is turned on.

Check to see if there are any error lights. If there are, contact the printer manufacturer for assistance.

Check to see if the receipt printer is plugged into the computer. If it is not, plug it back in. The name of the printer may change in Windows so check the Printer/Cashdrawer again.
- Test the printer in Windows.

Open the Devices and Printers in Windows.

Right-click on the printer and select Printer Properties

Click Print Test Page. If no test page prints, there is a problem with the printer hardware. Please contact the printer manufacturer for assistance

If printer will not print, but everything else looks good, restart the printer and test it again.
SalonTouch software only pulls printer information on startup of SalonTouch. If you have added a new printer while SalonTouch is open, close SalonTouch and reopen it. You should be able to select the printer in SalonTouch now.
