How do I set up regular simple commissions for my employees?

Setting up regular commissions on products or tan services is very straight forward (commissions paid  as % of price or a flat dollar amount).


For each and every employee that is to receive commissions follow the following steps:


  1. Go to the Employees profile and under the Commission tab ensure that the applicable items are checked off. Click Save

  2. Go to the applicable products or tan services and under the Dollar tab put in the commission under Commission (% of Price). Click Save when done.

  3. Do this for each and every employee that is to receive commissions and also for each and every product or tan services for which commissions are paid off.


More complicated Commission structures are possible within SalonTouch such a Float Commission Structure or a Per Person Average (PPA) commission. Please refer to the SalonTouch Manual for details on how to set up these types of commissions.
