How to set up taxes for Products and Services

All tax rates are defined in SalonTouch in the Register  section. SalonTouch will allow you to define four different tax rates.

1. Click “Setup” on the top toolbar.
   
   
2. Click “Register” on the left side.
   
   
3. To set the tax rates click the Taxes tab.
   
   
4. Enter a name for the tax amount. Enter a 10% tax rate as 0.1 in the amount field.
   
   
5. Enter another name for Tax 2 (e.g. for individual products)

Note that products or services that need to have tax charged are set on an individual item basis in the product or services section.
