What is a Service Provider?

Modified on Tue, 22 Oct 2019 at 03:20 PM

A service provider is simply an employee that provides a service to the clients.  These services are normally appointment driven and often the employee will collect a commission for services rendered.

These service providers are commonly found with esthetician work, hair stylists, markup artists, massage therapists, and many other professions.  SalonTouch can be used to make management of services and employees easier for the salon owners.

  • SalonTouch can be configured to allow for a revenue split on the service rendered allowing for 1099 employees to compensated based on work performed.
  • The revenue split can be customized for each employee or group of employees.
  • SalonTouch can be used to charge service providers for salon-provided materials used in performing their services and deduct it from their commissions.
  • Our integrated credit card processing can be used to bill booth-renters for space provided.
